Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin recently requested a trade.
Larkin, his agent Pat Brisson, and Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman wouldn't comment on the matter to Friedman.
A Michigan native, Larkin has spent his entire 11-year career in Detroit but hasn't reached the playoffs since his 2015-16 rookie campaign. The Red Wings' 10-year postseason drought is the longest active skid in the league.
