Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant will not return from injury in time for Friday's Game 6 against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Durant is dealing with a bone bruise in his left ankle and has missed all but one game of the series. Houston has won back-to-back contests after being down 3-0.
The 37-year-old didn't play in Game 1 due to a bruised tendon in his right knee. He returned for Game 2 and dropped 23 points in 41 minutes of action before suffering the ankle injury late in the contest.
