Doc Rivers will leave the Milwaukee Bucks following his third season in charge of the team.

Rivers went a combined 97-103 after replacing Adrian Griffin as the Bucks' head coach in January 2024. This season, the franchise went 32-50 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

The Bucks, who signed Rivers to a reported $40 million contract through 2026-27, will pay out the remainder of Rivers' contract and consider an advisory role for the veteran coach, Charania reports.
