The Toronto Blue Jays placed right-hander Chris Bassitt on the 15-day injured list with low back inflammation, the team announced Saturday.
Toronto recalled left-hander Mason Fluharty from Triple-A in a corresponding move. Fluharty will be active for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals.
Bassitt, who's 11-9 with a 3.96 ERA in 170 1/3 innings, will be eligible to come off the IL prior to the start of the American League Division Series.
