Mack dislocated his elbow Monday night

Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher Khalil Mack avoided a season-ending injury after dislocating his elbow in Monday's win against the Las Vegas Raiders, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.

Mack will be sidelined for a few weeks but is expected to return to the lineup this season.

The nine-time Pro Bowler injured his elbow after his arm got caught between teammate Troy Dye and Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker while attempting to make a tackle in the first quarter. Mack was able to jog off the field holding his left hand. He watched most of the second half wearing a medical sling while sitting on the bench.

Mack, a three-time first-team All-Pro, is playing in his fourth season with the Chargers. He signed a one-year deal to return to Los Angeles last offseason. The Buffalo product has recorded 143 tackles for loss and 108.5 sacks over the span of his career.
