Atlanta Braves superstar outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. is being placed on the 10-day injured list with right Achilles tightness, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic.
Acuña was seen in a walking boot following the Braves' 9-6 loss to the Kansas City Royals, according to Mark Bowman of MLB.com. He'll now return to Atlanta and undergo an MRI on Wednesday to determine the severity of his injury.
Acuña appeared to sustain the injury while chasing down a foul ball in the sixth inning of Tuesday's game at Kauffman Stadium. Later in the inning, he was seen running awkwardly while trying to catch a fly ball, leading to his removal.
