The Arizona Diamondbacks are trading right-hander Merrill Kellyto the Texas Rangers, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.
Left-handers Kohl Drake and Mitch Bratt and right-hander David Hagaman are going to Arizona in the deal, a source told The Arizona Republic's Nick Piecoro.
Kelly is in the midst of another solid season. The 36-year-old owned a 3.22 ERA and 3.53 FIP in 22 starts for the D-Backs before the reported swap.
The seven-year veteran will give the Rangers a formidable top three in their rotation, joining Jacob deGrom and Nathan Eovaldi.
