The San Diego Padres are acquiring All-Star slugger Ryan O'Hearn from the Baltimore Orioles, sources told Robert Murray of FanSided.
Outfielder Ramón Laureano is also going to San Diego in the deal, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Baltimore is receiving six prospects in return: left-handed pitcher Boston Bateman, right-handed relievers Tyson Neighbors and Tanner Smith, infielders Brandon Butterworth and Cobb Hightower, and first baseman/outfielder Victor Figueroa, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports. Bateman and Hightower are the Padres' No. 4 and 6 prospects respectively, per MLB.com.
