Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager is undergoing surgery Thursday for an appendectomy after feeling pain in his appendix before Wednesday's game, president of baseball operations Chris Young said, according to Jeff Wilson of DLLS Sports.
Young added the Rangers aren't sure of Seager's timetable to return but haven't ruled out that he could be back before the end of the season.
