The New York Giants are firing head coach Brian Daboll after a disappointing 2-8 start to the season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will serve as the interim coach, Schefter adds.
Daboll's dismissal comes as the Giants are off to their third straight 2-8 start. New York squandered a 10-point lead late during Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Chicago Bears, allowing 14 unanswered points in the final four minutes.
