The Washington Commanders aren't placing Jayden Daniels on injured reserve after the quarterback received positive updates following an MRI and medical opinions on his dislocated elbow, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Daniels' injury isn't considered as serious as initially anticipated, with tests revealing no ligament damage, per Rapoport.
Head coach Dan Quinn announced Friday that Daniels won't need surgery and will be re-evaluated after the team's bye week later in November.
