The Venezuelans survived a late American comeback to beat Team USA 3-2 in Tuesday's WBC final at loanDepot Park. Eugenio Suárez answered Bryce Harper's eighth-inning game-tying homer with a double in the top of the ninth that plated the tournament-winning run. Closer Daniel Palencia then set the U.S. down in order to start Venezuela's celebration.
