Donovan Mitchell agreed to a four-year, $273-million maximum contract extension with the Cleveland Cavaliers that includes a player option for 2030-31 and a full trade kicker.
It's the second extension Mitchell has signed since joining the Cavs in a trade in 2022.
The All-Star guard could've earned an additional $80 million by waiting until next summer, but he opted to ink a new long-term deal on the first day he became extension-eligible.
