The Houston Rockets re-signed forward Tari Eason to a five-year, $81.5-million contract, sources told ESPN's Sham Charania.
Eason's new contract includes a player option in the fifth year and a 10% trade kicker, reports The Athletic's Sam Amick.
Houston selected Eason with the No. 17 overall pick in 2022. The LSU product averaged 10.5 points, 6.3 boards, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals across 60 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. He was also 14th in the Association in steal percentage (2.3%) and 17th in offensive rebound percentage (9%).
