The Cleveland Guardians activated star third baseman José Ramírez from the 10-day injured list, the club announced Wednesday.
Ramírez had been out since June 14 after undergoing hand surgery for a broken hamate bone.
The Guardians went 15-15 without the seven-time All-Star. The team is tied with the Chicago White Sox for the AL Central lead entering play Wednesday.
