The Miami Dolphins hired Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley as their head coach, the team announced Monday.
He'll reportedly sign a five-year contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Hafley had his second interview with Miami on Monday. The 46-year-old has been with the Packers since 2024, and their defensive unit improved significantly under his watch.
He served as head coach at Boston College for four seasons from 2020-23.
In Miami, Hafley replaces Mike McDaniel, who lost his job after the Dolphins missed the playoffs for a second straight year. The team hasn't won a playoff game since the 2000 campaign.
