Titans look to hire Robert Saleh as head coach

The Tennessee Titans are finalizing a five-year deal that will make 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh their head coach, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Saleh had an in-person interview with the Titans on Monday and was scheduled to visit the Arizona Cardinals. Tennessee also interviewed Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy on Monday, according to ESPN's Turron Davenport.

Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi was inclined toward hiring Nagy, but team ownership swayed the decision in Saleh's favor, a source told Davenport.
