Bo Bichette is back in the Toronto Blue Jays' lineup batting cleanup for Game 1 of the World Series, but the star infielder will be in unfamiliar territory when he takes the field Friday.
For the first time ever as a major leaguer, Bichette will play second base, keeping Andrés Giménez at shortstop on defense.
Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers will mark Bichette's first action since Sept. 6, when he suffered a sprained knee at Yankee Stadium. The injury forced him to miss most of the stretch run as well as the first two rounds of the playoffs.
