The Detroit Lions and star pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson have agreed to a four-year, $180-million extension that contains $141 million in total guarantees, his agent Mike McCartney told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The guaranteed money is the most ever for a non-quarterback, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Hutchinson's new deal is worth $45 million per season, which only trails Micah Parsons ($46.5 million per year) for the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, according to Over The Cap.
