The Sacramento Kings agreed to a deal with Russell Westbrook, the guard's agent told ESPN's Shams Charania on Wednesday.
Westbrook, a nine-time All-Star and former MVP, will officially sign the one-year, veteran's minimum deal Thursday, a source told ESPN 1320's James Ham. Once finalized, the California native will join his seventh franchise ahead of his 18th NBA season.
The 36-year-old spent the 2024-25 campaign with the Denver Nuggets, averaging 13.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds while starting in 36 of 75 appearances.
