The Miami Dolphins and general manager Chris Grier have mutually agreed to part ways, the team announced.
The decision comes after Thursday's 28-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens dropped the team to 2-7 to start to the season. Grier had been with the Dolphins since 2000, taking over as GM in 2016. Miami only reached the playoffs three times during his tenure as general manager.
