The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to acquire a first-round pick for pending unrestricted free agent Bobby McMann, reports Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
McMann has notched 19 goals and 13 assists in 56 games this season while counting for $1.35 million against the cap. He's arguably Toronto's best trade chip leading up to the March 6 deadline with the team on course to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2015-16.
Scott Laughton, Calle Jarnkrok, and Troy Stecher could also be on the move as pending UFAs.
