Green Bay Packers pass-rusher Micah Parsons says he was close to being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles last summer when the Dallas Cowboys were shopping him.
However, Parsons revealed that a hangup over the inclusion of Jalen Carter seemed to be a roadblock in the negotiations.
"To be honest with you bro, it was very close," Parsons said on his podcast, "The Edge." "It was very close. Eagles, before the Jaelan Phillips (trade), before all of them, it was me. I was really about to come but there was one person that I had to play with, that if he was gone, I didn't want to be there and that was Jalen Carter."
