New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson will sit out the final three games of the season as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
Coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that Wilson is progressing well, but the team doesn't want to take any unnecessary risks with the star receiver. Wilson has missed five games while on injured reserve after getting hurt against Cleveland on Nov. 9.
The Jets (3-11) are out of the playoff hunt as they prepare to face the Saints (4-10) in New Orleans on Sunday.
