Rookie quarterback Riley Leonard will start the Indianapolis Colts' last game of the season Sunday against the Houston Texans, head coach Shane Steichen announced Wednesday, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN.
Anthony Richardson won't be activated off injured reserve, thus leaving Seth Henigan to likely serve as Leonard's backup, Steichen said, per Joel A. Erickson of IndyStar.
Philip Rivers will still remain with the team for this week to mentor Leonard.
