Arizona Diamondbacks general manager Mike Hazen wants to put trade talks involving All-Star second baseman Ketel Marte to rest so he can focus on other offseason moves.
"We're very likely to put an end to this shortly," Hazen said Tuesday, according to MLB.com's Steve Gilbert.
While Hazen admitted he didn't have an exact timeline, he said a deal involving the infielder didn't appear to be materializing, despite the D-Backs continuing to engage with interested teams.
