Goaltender Stuart Skinner will make his Pittsburgh Penguins debut Tuesday against his former team, the Edmonton Oilers.
"We're ripping off the Band-Aid right away, which is good," Skinner said, according to NHL.com's Wes Crosby. "Thinking about it, I think I'd rather it be like this and just kind of get it over with, but also to enjoy it too. ... I get to play my old teammates, and me and Brett (Kulak) get to do it together. I think that's nothing but exciting."
The Penguins acquired Skinner and Kulak, along with a 2029 second-round pick, for goaltender Tristan Jarry and prospect Sam Poulin on Friday. Jarry will start opposite Skinner for the Oilers in Pittsburgh.
