Pittsburgh Steelers pass-rusher T.J. Watt has been hospitalized for further evaluation after experiencing discomfort in his lung Wednesday, the team announced.
Watt's injury occurred while he was receiving treatment at the team facility, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He won't practice Thursday, and his status for Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins remains uncertain.
The 31-year-old suited up in over 87% of Pittsburgh's defensive snaps in their victory over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14. He hasn't missed a game since the 2022 campaign.
